Firstly the most important the nursing degree must be notary by the German authorities, which means is has to be accepted as being equal in the educational process as German/EU nursing standards. I have had my lawyer check with ministry of education and health and he received the information that Indian nursing certificates are acceptable however some universities and colleges are blacklisted so it will depend on where they obtained their degrees.
The process of notary will take between 4-6 months. Once the nostrification is done then the work permit will be processed and will be approved, however to receive the work permit as nurse it is mandatory to proof language level of B1 or B2, it depends on the German state where they will work. German language certification is must for getting the work permit.
The fees for the nostrification and submissions for this will be at approximately Euro 750.00 per person. The lawyer will agreed for flat fee of about 350.00euro per person for his services of which Euro 500.00 refundable.
In order to check the documents and possibility for nostrification I will first need by email a copy of their School diploma and nursing degree as well as a copy of their educational documents.
This should be in English so the lawyer can review it.
